- Recognize the clinical manifestations of chlamydial infections in men, women, and children
- Use recommended laboratory diagnostic methods to diagnose chlamydial infections
- Screen for routine chlamydial infections when indicated
- Treat chlamydial infections with recommended regimens and select appropriate alternative regimens when indicated
- Manage sex partners of persons diagnosed with chlamydial infection
